The City of Centennial is a municipality situated in Arapahoe County, Colorado, USA. The city population was 108,418 at the 2020 United States Census, making Centennial the 11th most heavily populated community in Colorado. Centennial is a part of the Denver-- Aurora-- Lakewood, Colorado Metropolitan Statistical Area and also the Front Range Urban Corridor.

The City of Centennial was created on February 7, 2001, from portions of the unincorporated Arapahoe Area, including the previous Castlewood as well as Southglenn census-designated areas (CDPs).
