Meet the Team

  • When I started Soccer Buddies, I wanted my own young children to play soccer without the pressure of competitive leagues. I saw a need in the market for a non-competitive, fun way of teaching soccer. Having a passion for child development and soccer made it easy to decide to build a business around it! I absolutely love what I do and how it positively impacts the lives of children and our community. I also really enjoy working with such amazing coaches on my team. FUN is our middle name, both on and off the soccer field. When you bring your child to a class, you will see what I mean!

  • Hey there, future soccer superstars and parents! If there's one thing I excel at, it's organization – think of me as the organizational wizard at Soccer Buddies. While some folks might avoid diving into the details, I thrive on those intricate tasks that keep the gears turning smoothly. When I'm not conjuring up team-building spells, you'll find me hiking trails, high-fiving mountains, and cruising the scenic route with my trusty sidekick – Obie the golden retriever.

  • I grew up in Northern, Ontario, Canada. Playing many sports and coaching was an important part of my youth.  Today I love to ski in the winter and my summers are filled with hiking and water sports. Sports have always been a part of the healthy lifestyle I strive for.
    During the week I manage a Holistic Healthcare center but I look forward to Saturdays at the soccer field. I enjoy meeting the parents and watching the children grow throughout the session. Seeing the smiles and hearing the laughter on the soccer field just makes my week. I am thrilled to be a part of the energetic, enthusiastic Soccer Buddies team!

  • Hey, I am Coach Bella! I have been coaching at Soccer Buddies for about three years now and having the opportunity to work with kids has been such a blessing. Outside of Soccer Buddies, I play electric and bass guitar for a rock band. When I am not playing guitar, I sketch, paint, and build legos! I will soon be pursuing a major in architecture, where I can make my creative passions a career! I look forward to my classes with you all! Gooo Soccer Buddies!

  • Hi! I'm Coach Hunter, a UCCS student and Colorado native who's all about creativity and new experiences. I'm a big fan of outdoor adventures like snowboarding, hiking, backpacking, and sup boarding. Soccer is one of my absolute favorite sports, and I've been helping kids improve and have a blast for 7 awesome years. Let's go kick it on the field! ⚽🏂🌄

  • Hello everyone, my name is Coach Austin! I’ve been coaching at Soccer Buddies for three years and have also coached boys’ high school volleyball, earning two state championships along the way. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, and my goal is to help kids fall in love with them the way I did. I strive to create a fun, supportive environment where they can build confidence, develop skills, and truly enjoy the game.

  • My name is Jackson I go to TCA high school. Ive played soccer for 8 years and I love everything about it. I enjoy being apart of the foundations that make great athletes and players. I actually did Soccer Buddies when I was young, and I love that I get to be apart of it now.

  • Hi! I’m Coach Maddy, and I love being part of the Soccer Buddies team. I’m a student at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and have played soccer my whole life. Coaching is a passion of mine, and I enjoy helping kids build skills and confidence while having fun. I can’t wait to meet you and your little one!

  • Hey I’m Coach Rylan! I’ve played ECNL soccer at Pride and have been coaching soccer for nearly a year. I go to Pine Creek and play Basketball and run track. I’m excited to see you at our Soccer Buddies classes!

  • I started coaching with SB in the fall of 2022. I attend Castle View High School. When I'm not coaching our little Soccer Buddies at the MAC, I compete for the CV's volleyball team. In my free time, I enjoy going on hikes and shopping, and attending concerts with friends. After graduation, I want to get a degree in veterinary science to hopefully become a Veterinarian. I'm excited to help all animals in the future just like my puppy I have at home.

  • When Buddy isn't hibernating or otherwise winning at life, he pops in to Soccer Buddies classes to make sure everything is running smoothly.  Buddy has been spotted on mountain tops in Breckenridge, mid field at Dick's Sporting Goods Park during Rapids games, and at all sorts of events around town.  His favorite game is definitely feeding blueberries...he's ALL about berries.  Next time you see him, make sure to give him a high five.  He loves high fives.

  • Hi, my name is Luke. I am a freshman at Castle View High School. I love being outside, driving my ATV, running, camping, animals and of course soccer. I have been playing soccer since I was 5. I started off in rec soccer and moved to club soccer. I also play for Castle View High School. I came to be a SB coach through my friend Coach Nash. He spoke so highly of the program. It sounded really cool and I wanted to be a part of it. I just started with SB this year. I have worked with kids through 4H, Faith Formation classes at church and at the Sloth Sanctuary in Costa Rica. I love helping them and teaching them new skills. I find they always have something new to teach me!

  • My name is Coach Shea and I really really really really like to play! I am the head training manager here at soccer buddies. I have 10 years of experience working in child care and education. I have a true passion working with the young minds. Positive growth means everything to me. So hey, meet me here at Soccer Buddies to experience some developmental fun!

  • Hi! My name is Kathy Duffy and I am currently with soccer buddies as a host/manager. I grew up in Colorado, but also spent 35 years in Texas before I returned. I have 4 grown kids and 10 grandchildren! My work background consists of working at Baylor medical center in Dallas as an R.N. I started as a bedside nurse to supervisor and then the clinical manager of a 76 bed unit. Quite the challenge! I did, however, need a break from the medical field and managed several restaurants both in Texas and also here before I found soccer buddies. I am semi-retired and soccer buddies is the perfect job for me! I have run 2 marathons, the 1st one I placed 5th and qualified for the boston marathon. Wish i could have made it to boston! I love water aerobics, anything outdoors and I can take a dead plant and bring it back to life. Love plants! Getting to know the coaches, kids and their parents has been a great joy for me!

  • Hi guys! My name is Coach Yasmin and I’m currently a student at Colorado State University! I’ve always loved working with kids and so Soccer Buddies has been the perfect place for me. I've traveled quite a few times in my life, and even speak two languages, Spanish being my first. I just love to meet new faces, and make fun little memories with all the kiddos that come and go through our program. When it comes to making kids smile and laugh, that's my jam!   • Hi! I am Coach Evelyn, I have played soccer for most of my life and I love everything about the game. Along with soccer I play volleyball. I joined soccer buddies because I love working with kids and helping them get to the best level of playing and teamwork that I can. I work with kids through both babysitting and I serve in children's ministry at my church. I am currently a Class of 2028 student at Castle View High School. I love working in/with sports and I hope to go to college for sports performance or ministry.

  • Hey I’m coach Tia! Im a mom of 3, when I’m not at soccer buddies I am a massage therapist! I love making sure our buddies are warming up their bodies and learning proper stretching! I have been with the team almost 4 years and I love it! Come join us at Soccer Buddies!

  • I am a junior at Castle View High School. In addition to all the fun I have at Soccer Buddies, I participate in student government and I do press coverage for Castle View activities. I'm working towards studying business and maybe being a realtor in the future. Traveling to visit my family in Alabama is something I always enjoy, but when I'm home I like going to concerts with friends and attending youth group!

  • Heyy my name is Kaisa! I used to go to soccer buddies all the time as a kid! Im a sophmore at Ponderosa highschool and I do theater and film in my free time!! I love skiing and doing outdoor activities! I can’t wait to meet the kids and have a blast!! :D

  • Hello! I am Coach Oscar and absolutely love soccer! I have played soccer a lot as a kid and now want to give back to the soccer playing community! I am originally from Panama City, Panama, but have lived in Colorado throughout most of my life! A cool fact about me is that I am bilingual and can speak both English and Spanish! I can't wait to make a difference in the lives of the kids at Soccer Buddies and give back to this organization!

Over the years, I've built my skills both on the field and through coaching, learning and growing along the way , and I’ve had the privilege of working with Soccer Buddies for a few years now. I absolutely love working with kids, helping them develop new skills, and sharing my love for the game. Being outside, staying active, and inspiring others are what drive me every day!

I love working with kids and I enjoy helping the Sunday School classes at my church. If I'm not on the field I'm reading a book, doing arts and crafts or playing guitar.   • Hey there! My name is Frankchesca but go by Frankie. I am a born and raised mountain girl, BUT I love being at the beach. I am a high school student in the COS region and play varsity soccer. With that, I admire coaching kiddos the fundamentals of soccer! A passion of mine is trying new things and discovering new places.
